What started out as a fun experiment, quickly turned into a full 12 piece collection of small floral color studies. Naturally 12 is a good fit for a calendar! Each month was hand painted using both gouache and acrylic. The challenge was to paint each floral image using a monochromatic color scheme and then choosing either it’s complement (like for December’s gardenia using green and red) or another color that would still make the flowers pop. I thoroughly enjoyed each and everyone of these paintings and I am thrilled to be able to offer them for the 2026 calendar.
Each calendar is printed in-house on 8.5” x 14” 67 lb. vellum bristol paper. It comes with a 1” gold bulldog clip for easy hanging.
